The Beacon is a new residential building in New Orleans, Louisiana, designed by US architecture firm, EskewDumezRipple. It is inspired by the local courtyard buildings, but in this case, it opens directly onto the street to provide a shared space for the whole neighbourhood.

Eskew+Dumez+Ripple, The Shop at the CAC in New Orleans
