KAAN Architecten's new De Bank building in Rotterdam
De Bank, the name of the building containing KAAN Architecten's new headquarters in Rotterdam, recalls the building's original function as the former headquarters of the Nederlandsche Bank. It is located in the heart of the city, on the banks of the Meuse River by the Erasmus Bridge, and another KAAN Architecten project, the Education Centre at Erasmus University Medical Centre.

Markus Scherer BBT Infopoint Restoration of the Fortress in Fortezza, Bolzano
In the restoration of the Fortress in Fortezza (Bolzano), architect Markus Scherer restores the existing heritage and gives the fortress a new configuration and volumetric structure to replace the original one lost with the construction of highway SS12. The structure now contains the BBT Infopoint, with exhibition spaces about the Brennero Base Tunnel, offices and a multi-purpose hall.

At the end of a competitive tender process by invitation announced in 2010 Reiulf Ramstad Arkitekter (RRA) was successful in winning the project for the Kimen Stjørdal Cultural Centre, in the heart of Norway. RRA designed a technological container of concrete, steel and glass with a roof inspired by the local traditional houses which have double-pitched roofs.
