Piuarch wins the “l’Premio Architetto Italiano 2013” competition

To mark the ninetieth anniversary of the foundation of the Order, Italy’s "National Council of Architects, Planners, Landscape Architects and Conservationists" in partnership with strong>Maxxi, the National Museum of 21st Century Arts, held an Architects’ Festival, destined to become an annual event celebrating architecture and quality design.

On the occasion of this event the Council announced the winner of the " Architetto Italiano 2013" award (Italian Architect 2013), a prize awarded to Piuarch, chosen among 70 candidates nominated by the country’s 105 provincial professional orders.
The judges identified projects by Studio PiuArch (Francesco Fresa, Germán Fuenmayor, Gino Garbellini and Monica Tricario) as emblematic examples of architectural and urban quality.

The jury, chaired by Cino Zucchi, also awarded a special prize, "Architetto Italiano 2013", to MoDus Architects (Sandy Attia + Matteo Scagnol) and a prize for "Giovane talento dell’architettura 2013" (Young Talent in Architecture 2013)to architect Fabrizio Barozzi for the Stettin Philharmonic project.
