Morphogenesis, India Glycols Corporate Office, Noida

Offices, Sport & Wellness,

The new Glycols building designed by Morphogenesis is an inward-turning fluid microcosm with an apparently solid, massive exterior.

Morphogenesis, India Glycols Corporate Office, Noida
In the plan for Glycols’ new Indian offices in Noida, architectural practice Morphogenesis addressed the issue of composition of workspaces by approaching them as social activities, differentiating them from both the conventional office buildings and common open spaces.

The building is located in suburban Delhi, and the architects gave priority to socio-economic and environmental issues in their plan, creating an inward-turning microcosm with an apparently solid, massive exterior which is clearly separated by its outlines and a fluid interior with gardens and terraces.

Passive design solutions for energy conservation and environmental sustainability are used everywhere in the building.
The inner courtyards and terraces with vegetation, fountains and pools provide enough sunlight to work by and adequate thermal insulation in the offices without use of artificial air conditioning systems.
