FAB conversation with Bontempi and Raul Pantaleo of Tamassocciati

The interesting discussion between architect Pier Carlo Bontempi and Raul Pantaleo, a member of TAMassociati, was the last in a series of events focusing on the work of Pier Carlo Bontempi presented by Floornature (Paolo Schianchi and Mara Corradi) and promoted by FAB Fiandre Architectural Bureau on its premises in Castellarano and in Milan.

How many forms of traditional architecture?” was the title/question inspiring the discussion moderated by reporter Luca Sommi, who provoked the two architects with his questions while pictures illustrating their projects all over the world were projected on the wall behind them.
Through their words the audience was able to discover the affinities between Pier Carlo Bontempi’s concept of “working for the common good” and TAMassociati’s philosophy of “taking care in architecture”.
These two ways of working begin with different contexts and achieve distant compositional and formal results, but both are based on a vision of architecture as a discipline serving human needs. Architecture that does not give way to self-congratulation and stylistic virtuosity, but focuses on people and their needs.
