City Previews Exhibition - Fuori Salone Milano 2011

During the 2011 Salone del Mobile in Milan, FDVLab and Ottagono, with the support of the City of Milan, are holding “Posti di vista – design sensibile”(Places of view – sensitive design), a Fuorisalone event at the “Cattedrale” of the Fabbrica del Vapore proposing an unconventional approach to design. Creative paths, exhibitions and performances investigate the connections between design and social, economic, political and ecological issues. Among the many initiatives proposed, Eiffelgres and its new products in the Pietra d’Origine line will participate in the City Previews exhibition curated by Philippe Daverio. The team of set designers appointed by Daverio will transform previews of products made by the companies involved in “I Saloni” into works of art, dramaticising their presentation and setting them in artistic installations. Ottagono will produce a publication featuring images and descriptions of all the products on display.
