Visual Design for the Don Café House chain in Prishtina, Kosovo.
The architects from Kosovo-based firm, INNARCH based the visually striking concept that communicates their client’s brand on the principles of Visual Marketing.

The goal of the designers from the Kosovo-based firm of architects, INNARCH was to make the process of grinding coffee the true “core business” of the Don Café House and to convey a strong message to users. This was the response to their specific client brief – to find a new way of communicating its brand.

The basic idea that inspired these premises in a shopping mall in the centre of Prishtina is coffee sacks. The walls have been clad with CNC-machined pieces of plywood. No two elements are the same and the 1365 pieces recreate the soft shapes of the sacks used to carry the fragrant beans. The cloth recycled from these used sacks is wrapped around the rest of the interiors, for a soft, enveloping effect.

The lights reference the organic shape of the bean and are reflected in the side tables, which are also based on the same theme. The design is conceived for a global experience featuring this globally popular drink, communicating the concept thanks to design choices based on Visual Marketing, where the image is the content’s messenger.
