Hotel Doisy in Paris with interiors by BR Design Intérieur Hotel Doisy is a 4-star hotel close to the Arc de Triomphe in Paris. After its complete makeover by Raphaëlle Levet and Bénédicte Pierens of BR Design Intérieur using natural materials and botanical references, the hotel is a real oasis of peace and quiet in the heart of the French capital.

Located in an exceptional spot in the 17th arrondissement near Place d'Etoile, Hotel Doisy recently reopened after the six floors and 33 rooms were given a full facelift. BR Design Intérieur -  co-founded by French designers Bénédicte Pierens and Raphaëlle Levet during this project - was the firm behind this revamp, which only took two months.
This creative duo has a sophisticated but at the same time light and simple style and both of them bring plenty of experience in interior design with many separate residential and commercial projects to their name. So the interiors of Hotel Doisy, located in a part of Paris with a real Hausmann feel, featuring zinc-plated rooves and prominent facades were given a real facelift by BR Design Intérieur who looked to the past to craft warm, light-filled interiors with a contemporary feel.
No easy task in such an atmospheric location that posed a high risk of falling into the "vintage-at-any-cost" trap. Instead, Bénédicte Pierens and Raphaëlle Levet have come up with a sophisticated and elegant, unconventional design, mixing botanical references with natural materials, bespoke furnishings and muted colour palettes.
Flowers and plants are the common denominators running through the design and of the selection of wall decorations. The widespread use of natural cane and wicker throughout the hotel gives it a fresh feel, particularly in the lobby on the first floor. A place that the designers compare to a “bubble of fresh air” in the beating heart of Paris. A small oasis of peace and quiet in a powerhouse district where major attractions - like the Arc de Triomphe - are just around the corner or easy to get to by public transport, all in the name of a sustainable holiday in Paris.
