- Carbon-neutral stay in Brussels.

The Meininger Hotel Brussels takes advantage of an old brewery’s enviable position on the banks of a canal for a new hotel with unique interiors.

This restructure and redevelopment of the old red brick industrial building is a visual celebration of its industrial past. Exposed concrete abounds in the large spaces, along with old casks that have been turned into tables.

The building’s more recent past as an art gallery is also fêted: when they saw the remnants of a street art exhibition, the clients decided to invite other European urban artists to expand on this theme, resulting in artworks throughout the public spaces.

So now Brussels has its own carbon-neutral hotel-hostel, testimony to the city's industrial past and the perfect destination for a creative holiday featuring Urban Art.
