Between Interior and Exterior: wulf architekten exhibition, Architektur Galerie Berlino

A selection of projects by wulf architekten is on display at the Architektur Galerie in Berlin from 13 March to 25 April 2015. The projects on exhibit are examples of the architects’ commitment to research into a form of design involving non-stop dialogue between interior and exterior space, in terms not only of spatial interaction but of their impact on one another.
The exhibition installation itself ideally represents the way the architects of wulf architekten work, choosing to post photographic reproductions of the gallery’s outside wall on the back wall of the gallery so as to eliminate the boundary between inside and outside. The fifteen projects selected for the exhibition are presented on a surface like the countertop of a laboratory, as if they were under a magnifying glass in an attempt to answer questions about issues such as the structure of entrances or the identity of a building in which there is no distinction between inside and outside.
The exhibition is accompanied by a monograph entitled wulf architekten – Rhythm and Melody, published by Niggli Verlag in 2014.
