From the dome designed by Aldo Rossi for Alessi to Barilla’s posters, from Kartell’s Louis Ghost to Olivetti’s machines and the Camparisoda bottle designed by Fortunato Depero, more than 50 objects of industrial design which have become a part of the Italians’ collective imagination will be on display at Fuorisalone 2016 and until May 13 on the premises of the Order of Architects in Milan.
The exhibition 50+! The great game of industry, curated by Francesca Molteni, focuses on a selection of objects from the collections of the archives and museums associated with Museimpresa. Objects made in Italy marking important changes in a variety of different areas: the customs, history, economics and lifestyle of Italian society.
The exhibition set up at the Order of Architects of Milan includes 4 new stories to be discovered regarding: Molteni’s Piroscafo bookshelves, the Royal Decree of Fondazione Basis, insurance policy no.1 of Reale Mutua and the Supercoppa 2007 of A.C. Milan.
After Milan, the exhibition will go on tour to The Nice Place - Oderzo (TV), May 26 through June 26, then to an installation promoted by the Alessi Museum in the Tornielli Museum in Ameno (NO) from July 1 to August 27.
