Fiandre goes to Cersaie 2015 with a stand inspired by the dreamy atmospheres of science fiction films such as Stanley Kubrick’s 2001: A Space Odyssey. The concept designed by architect Matteo Nunziati expresses the perfect combination of form and meaning.

The FIANDRE stand at Cersaie: A Different Point of View

Wide open spaces that attract and thrill onlookers by recreating the atmosphere of science fiction films such as Stanley Kubrick’s 2001: A Space Odyssey are the key to the stand designed by architect Matteo Nunziati for Fiandre at the 2015 edition of Cersaie, the International Exhibition of Ceramic Tile and Bathroom Furnishings. The metaphor underlines the company’s commitment to on-going research and development in ceramics. The majestic, imposing scale of Fiandre’s big Maximum ceramic tiles and their unlimited applications are underlined in the project by architect Matteo Nunziati perfectly combining form with meaning.
The architect covered the space entirely with 300 x 150 cm Maximum tiles, adding big mirrors at the end of the exhibition corridors and asymmetric openings in the walls to create windows on the outside. Big tables, also made using Maximum porcelain tiles, falsify proportions and give visitors the impression of being in a dream-like dimension.
