After implementing the plan of action for the ruins of Ruesta, a medieval village on the Aragonés branch of the Camino de Santiago, architect Sergio Sebastián worked on reclamation of the nearby hermitage of San Juan de Ruesta, with surprising figurative results.

Taller Bàsico de Arquitectura: Faculty of medicine in Zaragoza

Taller Bàsico de Arquitectura built the architectural complex of the San Jorge University Faculty of Medicine in Zaragoza. Three L-shaped volumes form a central plaza, reproducing an urban space outside the context of the city. The construction’s form and materials help to dematerialise it, creating views over the internal and external landscape.

Saragoza Library and Coexistence Centre

In Saragoza a library and a seniors’ centre are housed in a single contemporary building. The building’s flexible geometry contributes rigour to the façade and order to the layout, symbolising the union between the history the books tell of and the history kept in the seniors' memories.
