Brazil 2014: The new World Cup Football stadiums.

Architects and engineers are creating a new look for Brazil’s stadiums ready for World Cup Football, with futuristic construction and restyling projects. The World Cup in Brazil will be remembered for its futuristic architecture. Architects including Populous, Anibal Coutinho and American architecture and design studios such as Gensler and HKS have all been busy working on development of Brazilian infrastructure in preparation for the kick-off of the 2014 World Cup.

On May 14 US president Barack Obama opened the museum commemorating the victims of September 11 2001. The entrance pavilion is designed by Snøhetta architectural studios. The building will open to the public on May 21, 2014.
