The Beacon is a new residential building in New Orleans, Louisiana, designed by US architecture firm, EskewDumezRipple. It is inspired by the local courtyard buildings, but in this case, it opens directly onto the street to provide a shared space for the whole neighbourhood.

Eskew+Dumez+Ripple, The Shop at the CAC in New Orleans

The USA-based architecture firm, Eskew+Dumez+Ripple designed a really special co-working space in New Orleans, Louisiana. The project - called The Shop - occupies the third and fourth floors of the city’s historic Contemporary Arts Center (CAC), restructuring and repurposing it to revitalise the cultural institution.
