MAD Hainan Science & Technology Museum Haikou City

MAD Architects, led by architect Ma Yansong, recently unveiled their design for the Hainan Science and Technology Museum which will be built in Haikou City, Hainan Province, China. The Museum, which was conceived as a meeting point between the lush tropical forest and the city with its advanced technologies, will serve as a scientific reference point for the entire province, as well as an important tourist attraction. The work is scheduled for completion in 2024.

Trace Architecture Office: Huandao Middle School, Haikou

A city within a city, with free spaces and secret corners to stimulate the imagination. This is the philosophy that inspired Hua Li of TAO Trace Architecture Office in the design of Huandao Middle School in Haikou (China), arising out of a survey of middle school pupils and teachers.
