Equipo de Arquitectura designed a raw earth building with an introspective appearance to host a children’s centre in a suburb of the city of Villeta, in Paraguay. The hardness of the outer walls conceals a surprising floor plan in which each classroom is a separate core, surrounded by vegetation.

Josep Ferrando Architecture, Sáenz Valiente building, UTDT Buenos Aires

Catalan architecture firm Josep Ferrando has realized the new Sáenz Valiente building for the Torcuato Di Tella University in Buenos Aires, Argentina. With its very clean lines, this mixed-use building won in two categories of the international FAD 2020 awards, one of the most important recognitions for architecture on the Iberian Peninsula. It was also certified with LEED Gold green building rating.
