Prefabricated ecological school in China
Professor Zhu Jingxiang coordinated a research team concerned with designing and constructing buildings in which more than 90% of the components are prefabricated to reduce the amount of time necessary to assemble the structure and provide a construction solution for places threatened by natural disasters or requiring rapid reconstruction in the wake of an earthquake.

MARIO NANNI’S 8 RULES OF LIGHT
Luca Molinari rounds off the season at SPAZIOFMGPERL’ARCHITETTURA, the Milanese gallery established by Iris Ceramica and FMG Fabbrica Marmi e Graniti, with the first personal exhibition dedicated to Mario Nanni, the internationally renowned lighting designer. The exhibition is entitled “Le otto regole di luce di Mario Nanni” (Mario Nanni’s Eight Rules of Light).

SAOTA – Architecture of textures and materials on Lake Geneva
Built by the South African studio SAOTA on the shores of Lake Geneva, the building has been described by one of the architects as an expression of an emerging African aesthetic because of its play of textures, materials and how they are connected with the world outside.
