Cité Arquitetura Shopping Mall integrated into the landscape of Brasilia

Partage Shopping Brasília, designed by architectural studios Cité Arquitetur and Sá & Almeida, aspires to become a model of innovation in shopping mall design on the Brazilian market. The architects have designed a building which aims to achieve LEED certification for sustainability and fits into the local landscape and culture.

Kruchin Arquitetura designs new building and parking-lot at the UDF University Centre in Brasília (Brazil)

The expansion works of the UDF University Centre campus in Brasília (Brazil), designed by the Kruchin Arquitetura firm, played an important educational role even before the works were completed, starting in the construction phase. Students enrolled in Architecture, Civil and Mechanical Engineering and Law courses, in fact, had the opportunity to take part in technical visits and to take a close look at certain aspects of the project and its realisation, putting into practice the theory learned in class.

Carlo Ratti Associati expands Brasilia’s historic masterplan with Biotic

The new Brasilia high-tech innovation district surrounded by nature is to be called Biotic. The recently completed expansion project, designed by Carlo Ratti Associati architects practice, began in 2018. It reinterprets the 1955 modernist masterplan created by town planner Lúcio Costa and architect Oscar Niemeyer for the Brazilian city, now a UNESCO world heritage site.
