Cersaie 2023: 40 years of Innovation and Architectural Space

Cersaie, the International Exhibition of Ceramic Tile and Bathroom Furnishings coming up 25 through 29 September 2023 in Bologna, celebrates its fortieth anniversary this year, confirming its role as a global landmark for ceramics and bathroom furnishings professionals. The events in the cultural programme ‘Costruire Abitare Pensare’ (“Building, Dwelling, Thinking”) include a keynote address by Chinese architect Xu Tiantian, founder of DnA Design and Architecture of Beijing, and a conference celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Sydney Opera House by Jørn Utzon (1973-2023).

From September 27 to October 1 in Bologna, the trade fair district will host the 38th edition of Cersaie, the International Exhibition of Ceramics for Architecture and Bathroom Furnishings. An international event of great prestige that is finally able to welcome back visitors in person after the stop imposed by the Covid-19 pandemic. This year’s edition will host many important guests including architect Shigeru Ban, winner of the Pritzker Prize in 2014.
