Traditional materials are completed in the architecture of House V in Overpelt, designed by Lens°Ass Architects. A ground-level living area and underground bedrooms, in a floor plan featuring oval-shaped brick walls topped with an overhanging concrete roof.
Seventeen buildings and urban planning projects by Le Corbusier, realised in seven different countries, were inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. A further acknowledgement of the outstanding contribution by this master of architecture to the Modern Movement.
