An imposing outdoor structure covered entirely with big porcelain tiles made by the GranitiFiandre group made the stand shared by Iris Ceramica - FMG FAbbrica Marmi e Graniti - Eiffelgres look like a big monolithic block to visitors at CERSAIE 2015. But the impression was limited to the outside only, for the inside of the stand immediately revealed its composition consisting of several connected spaces. The stand was designed by architect Roberto Garbugli.

"A different kind of thing" was the motto summing up the design concept. Architect Roberto Garbugli designed installations for the various different spaces in the stand, meant to be interpreted as iconic representations of commercial, residential, and hospitality spaces revealing the aesthetic quality and versatility of the GranitiFiandre Group’s ceramics in a variety of different contexts.

The products’ aesthetic and functional qualities were underlined by the multitude of different possible applications presented. High-tech ceramics were presented in a great variety of different formats, from the most traditional to maxi tiles, and above all used in different ways: not only to cover surfaces, but to create items of furniture and accessories such as kitchen counters, shower trays, wash basins, doors, fireplaces and chairs.
