FAB Berlin hosts the Next Landmark 2016 awards ceremony

Berlin is about to become the world capital of architecture. November 16 through 18 the city hosts WAF, the World Architecture Festival, one of the world’s most important events for architecture.

The presence of an event of such international prominence and the availability of a prestigious location, FAB Architectural Bureau Berlin, the exhibition gallery operated by Fiandre, Ariostea and Porcelaingres, is the winning combination that led to choice of Berlin as the next city - after Venice and Milan – to host the awards ceremony of ” Next Landmark”, an international contest for architecture and urban photography promoted by the Floornature.com portal in collaboration with IUSVE.
The event will take place at 19:00 on November 16 at FAB, in the heart of Berlin’s Kreuzberg district, now featuring a new installation set up in June 2016. Created in a participatory design process in 3 workshops with the participation of prominent German architectural studios and professionals, the innovative new installation permits use of the space in FAB as a cinema. This feature will be fully exploited on the evening of the awards ceremony, when the big slabs of Maximum Fiandre Extralite® used in the gallery installation become special screens on which to project images of the winners in the contest’s three categories: Landmark of the Year, Research, and Photography.
