Edoardo Tresoldi has given a 3D dimension to a dream, allowing people to physically enter and really walk throughan imaginary place. It is an ideal place that recalls colonnades and cupolas. Archetypes of architecturelike the structures of the Italian Renaissance that we see in the painting of Piero della Francesca and Raphaelbut also in the metaphysical spaces of De Chirico. The relationship with nature can be seen in the green that underlines the metallic structures or completes them, but also with the sudden, cinematographic flock of birds, which in a "silent" flap of a wing move across the architecture and generate the movement that gives life to the composition.
Roberto Conte’s photos present all the wonder of this outdoor landscape, magically created in a 7000 m2 space indoors in the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre for a private event for the royal family of Abu Dhabi and 1750 guests.
The Italian sculptor has created a garden where architecture defines spaces with the majesty of classical works, but with the weight of a dream. Like all dreams it vanishes with the dawn, as the works will be installed separately in different institutional spaces. The ideal place will live on in the photography of Roberto Conte and, in the age of the Internet, will be shared and viewed by thousands of users.
