Clerkenwell Design Week CDW London 2015

Clerkenwell Design Week (CDW) is being held for the sixth year from 19 to 21 May 2015 in London, with a range of special projects and installations celebrating design and creativity. A go-to festival if you love design, or just to enjoy everything it has to offer!
From today until 21 May the London district of Clerkenwell will be hosting the sixth Clerkenwell Design Week #CDW2015:, a festival showcasing design and the latest trends in interiors and more, where visitors can hook up with the big names and with young talents in a bubbly mix.



There will be projects commissioned specifically for the festival, street shows and performances, pop-up workshops all over the district, which has turned into London's creative hub, home to a huge number of studios and showrooms, including elips design and STO Werkstatt whose exhibition “Hypnos. The Architecture of Sleep” explores the theme of architecture and sleep, increasingly topical in the global world, where mobile technology is blurring the lines between private life and work as well as impacting the rhythms of life.



We are particularly keen on “Agora on the Green”; UK registered charity Article 25, which works in disaster relief and assists vulnerable communities in housing and building projects, Scandinavian Business Seating (SBS) and architects russ+henshaw partnered to create this dynamic installation. It transforms a forgotten area of Clerkenwell into a modern agora, in keeping with the philosophy of the involved parties to “give life to spaces and relations”, inviting the general public to engage and interact.
