Amanjena Resort in Marrakech. Extended hospitality. Morocco as a tourist destination that brings together the best of the Mediterranean, focusing in particular on environmental and social aspects. The Amanjena resort is reopening after a complete overhaul and extension of the public areas and guest pavilions.

The beauty of Morocco has enchanted visitors from all over the world since time immemorial. We personally experienced proof of the country's huge tourist attraction at the Morocco Pavilion at EXPO Milano 2015 that we really liked for its warm colours and bold visuals.

Amanjena, one of the resorts in the Aman chain, proposing holistic tourism with a special focus on the sustainability and historical-environmental aspects of their settings (see Amandayan, China), is opening its doors again after refurbishments lasting three months to give the architecture a strong Moorish identity.

This is an oasis of peace and quiet outside the old city of Marrakech, with easy access to the Medina and a special relationship with the country's breathtakingly beautiful landscape. The accommodation architecture radiates out from a central basin of water marking the centre of the resort.

The delicate refurbishment reflects the site's uniqueness and heritage, with bold, warm colours, and embraces extended hospitality as the accommodation at Amanjena is comprised of 32 pavilions and seven “maison” with the addition of a second 2-level “maison”, optimising environmental performance.

The interiors and exteriors seem to blend together in all the spaces, with gardens and accommodation joining together to set the scene for a completely relaxing holiday in close contact with the lush nature of Morocco, which draws us into a dreamy worlds where we can rediscover peace and recharge our batteries.
