The Iris Ceramica Group presents the thirtieth episode of "The Architects Series", the documentary series that celebrates the protagonists of contemporary architecture, curated by The Plan magazine. On Thursday June 15, 2023, starting at 7:00 pm, not only professionals but all architecture enthusiasts will be able to view the documentary film dedicated to the Allford Hall Monaghan Morris (AHMM) international architecture studio and, following the screening, the lecture held by one of the founders of the studio, architect Simon Allford. The webinar will be live streamed from the ICG Gallery London, the Showroom of the Iris Ceramica Group, which is showing off its new look to the public, "evolving into an immersive, interactive, technological and engaging Contemporary art gallery".

Founded in 1989 by Simon Allford together with Jonathan Hall, Paul Monaghan and Peter Morris, AHMM has become one of the most renowned architectural firms in the world. Since its foundation, AHMM has adopted a design approach that combines economy, elegance and taste. The studio's philosophy is based on the creation of buildings that withstand the passage of time, adapting to new circumstances and enriching the urban context to which they belong.

With over 500 employees and offices in London, Bristol and Oklahoma City, AHMM has completed projects across the UK as well as around the world in Europe, India and the Americas. The studio has won important awards over the years, including the RIBA Stirling Prize 2015, UK’s highest award for architecture, for the design of the Burntwood School and, recently, the RIBA London Awards 2023 for the Park Central West and East project, a complex of eleven buildings that falls within the Elephant Park, a regeneration project of London's Elephant & Castle district.
The AHMM studio is known for its unique talent in integrating contemporary architecture with historical heritage, as in the projects of the Television Centre, the Barbican and the New Scotland Yard, as well as for the design of important commercial, residential and educational centres. Recent projects include the Soho Place, a fascinating "huge urban puzzle" that includes office space, a theatre and a new public area.

AHMM's approach is based on research and development, with a focus on sustainability and building performance. The studio's commitment to innovation and growth in the entire construction sector is evident in projects such as Net Zero, a research initiative carried out in collaboration with Innovate UK and UCL, published in "Net Zero in Use: A Guide for Architects". This project has broadened professionals' awareness of the carbon life cycle and the impact of constructions on the environment.

Following the screening of the film, architect Simon Allford, one of AHMM's founders and current President of the Royal Institute of British Architects, will share his experience and visions on contemporary architecture in a lecture.
