Active presented at Surface Design Show

February 15 through 17 the Business Design Centre in London hosts the eighth Surface Design Show, an event focusing exclusively on indoor and outdoor architectural surfaces intended for architects, interior designers and construction firms. “Inspiring, informing and innovating” are the goals of the event, which focuses on the theme of “the Material Thinking” in 2011. On the basis of the assumption that “nothing can be obtained without thinking”, the organisers celebrate thought and innovation in the field of architectural surfaces with events and theme installations. In this context Iris Ceramica and FMG Fabbrica Marmi e Graniti will present Active Clean Air & Antibacterial Ceramic™. Thanks to photocatalysis, architectural surfaces covered with ACTIVE tiles make a concrete contribution to improving air quality and perform an effective antibacterial action.
