Two artistic installations, Portal and Drum Coral, designed by The Urban Conga for the Bay Conservancy’s new Bay Park in Sarasota, Florida, beautify the first part of the waterfront park. While maintaining a relationship with their natural surroundings, they are designed to offer two opportunities for play while serving as occasions for socialisation during construction of phase two in the environmental redevelopment project.

The Urban Conga studio creates programmable community space for the Ackland Art Museum
The latest project created by The Urban Conga studio is a programmable open-ended space for the Chapel Hill community and the Ackland Art Museum located at the University of North Carolina. The studio designed the pARC spatial intervention through a series of participatory design workshops with community stakeholders and museum representatives.

The Urban Conga, a multidisciplinary international design studio based in Brooklyn, has won several awards for its work exploring the concept of the "playable city ": an ecosystem of “playable” opportunities interwoven with the existing urban infrastructure which interrupt and enrich our daily routines.
