A pedestrian itinerary starting out in the centre of Marseilles, beginning with Norman Foster’s mirror pavilion, and taking us to the outskirts of the city to see Zaha Hadid’s skyscraper. A walk along the city’s converted waterfront, a wide-ranging urban project including buildings and public spaces.

Calatrava The Oculus World Trade Center Transportation Hub
Oculus, the new World Trade Center Transportation Hub designed by architect Santiago Calatrava, was inaugurated on March 3. The new station is located to the east of where the Twin Towers used to stand, and will be the third most important station in the city of New York.

Yoshio Taniguchi wins the Piranesi Prix de Rome
The "Piranesi Prix de Rome" for life-long achievement, an award presented by the Adrianea Academy of Architecture and Archeology with the support of prominent institutions and enterprises, including Graniti Fiandre, will be presented to Japanese architect Yoshio Taniguchi on March 18, when he will hold his first Lectio Magistralis in Italy.

Vita Nova, the restoration days explore architecture
The event called “VITA NOVA – gli Edifici industriali e il riutilizzo a fini culturali” (NEW LIFE - Industrial Building and repurposing them for cultural use) or the Restoration Days, an initiative promoted by the Ligurian association for craft enterprises and small- and medium-sized enterprises (CNA Liguria) in the former industrial facility of Vaccari in Santo Stefano di Magra gave a broad overview of industrial cultural assets in Italy.
