Moving Architecture – the Italian Pavilion at Expo Dubai 2020
Expo Dubai 2020 has officially opened its doors. Our journey through the pavilions of the first Universal Exposition organised in the Arab world, could only start from the Italian Pavilion: designed by the CRA-Carlo Ratti Associati and Italo Rota Building Office, with Matteo Gatto and F&M Ingegneria, the project presents itself as an experiment into reconfigurable architecture and circularity.

Carlo Ratti Associati and Italo Rota MEET Digital Culture Center Milano
MEET is a new centre for digital culture and creative technology in Milan designed by CRA-Carlo Ratti Associati and Italo Rota in a historic building in the heart of the Porta Venezia district. The project centres around a large vertical public space containing the Living Staircase, a "habitable" stairwell 15 metres high representing the core of all the activities and events that take place every day at MEET. The new Digital Culture Center opened to the public on October 31, 2020.

Cino Zucchi Architetti and RGAstudio - Bistrot Lavazza in Turin
One year later, we return to the Nuvola Lavazza, the project in Turin’s Aurora district that transformed the site of a former power plant into the modern new headquarters of the famous Italian coffee company. Here, we look at one of the projects that, along with company offices and the Lavazza Museum, completes the offer for Lavazza associates: Bistrot, the new restaurant/café, a project created by Cino Zucchi Architetti and RGAstudio.
