SOM designs Daniel Patrick Moynihan Train Hall in New York

The new Daniel Patrick Moynihan Train Hall, the new train hall at the Pennsylvania Station, in New York, opened its doors to the public on January 1, 2021. The project was designed by architecture firm Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM) inside the historic James A. Farley Post Office Building. A monumental and important civic project that transforms the way millions of people interact with one of the world’s largest cities, reimagining the travel experience and restoring the grandeur of a historic complex.
