Zaha Hadid’s Hungerburg funicular railway in Innsbruck is 10 years old

The Hungerburg funicular railway from central Innsbruck to the starting point of the Seegrube cable car recently celebrated its 10th birthday. Its four stations were designed by Zaha Hadid.

In September 2002 Mt. Bergisel, near Innsbruck, saw the inauguration of a new ski jump designed by Zaha Hadid, who won an international competition held in 1999.
