Winners of the 2021 AIANY Design Awards

AIA New York’s annual Design Awards program recognises outstanding architectural design by AIA New York members. This year’s jury met online to select the winners in four of the five categories: Architecture, Interiors, Projects, and Urban Design. No awards were given this year in the Sustainability category.

Ikon.5: McGee Art Pavilion in New York

Designed by American studio Ikon.5, McGee Art Pavilion on the New York State College of Ceramics campus in Alfred, New York pays homage to terra cotta and its architectural applications. The project’s focus on environmental sustainability has earned it USGBC LEED Silver certification.
