Elisa Valero wins the sixth edition of the Swiss Architectural Award
Spanish architect Elisa Valero is the first woman to win the Swiss Architectural Award, on the occasion of the sixth edition of the biennial prize sponsored by the Swiss Architectural Foundation. In its previous editions, the prize was won by architects Junya Ishigami, José María Sánchez García, Studio Mumbai, Diébédo Francis Kéré and Solano Benítez.

The Spanish architect Elisa Valero Ramos has built the El Serrallo nursery school on the hills north of Granada. The El Serrallo School by Valero Ramos is built using traditional constructive methods and pictorial rooms due to its low building budget.
