The Moon Garden completes Milan’s Portello Park

The Moon Garden is the last lot in a project commissioned by Iper Montebello Spa, designed by Charles Jencks and Andreas Kipar and developed by LAND Italia on the former Alfa Romeo industrial site at Portello. This final lot concludes a process that began more than 20 years ago, bringing the size of the park up to a total of about 73 thousand square metres.

"The Architecture of Hope", goodbye to Charles Jencks

Charles Jencks, who together with his wife Maggie co-founded Maggie's Cancer Caring Centres, passed away on October 13, 2019 at the age of 80. Today, the project includes 26 centres located in Britain and internationally. New Maggie's Centres were inaugurated in Barcelona, Hong Kong and Tokyo, a complex of buildings collectively referred to as “architectures of hope”.
