The team from the Chinese firm ONEXN Architects designed Peak Tea, a tea house in a large mall in Shenzhen. The small premises talk to us because of the desire to create a landscaped space that blends interior and exterior and emphasizes the presence of the business.

BIG completes the new Shenzhen Energy Mansion skyscraper
Shenzhen has a new urban landmark: recently, the new Shenzhen Energy Company skyscraper, designed by BIG - Bjarke Ingels Group, has been completed. Its pleated façade is the result of a study aimed at maximising the contribution of architecture in terms of energy performance and users’ comfort.

Continuing their research into optimisation of design work, the Chinese studio Open Architecture has created a prototype of the HEX-SYS system for an exhibition centre in Guangzhou, China. Open Architecture’s HEX-SYS is a flexible construction system which is easy to dismantle and rebuild.
