The summer holidays are now behind us, and the first week of September means back to school and back to work. Floornature resumes its regular weekly publications, starting by reminding our readers of the activities and initiatives the Iris Ceramica Group and its brands are currently involved in, while awaiting an important international event for the ceramics industry, CERSAIE 2017.
We start with Next Landmark, the international contest promoted by Floornature, with a new formula and a new title for its sixth edition: Architectural SKIN. Participants are to come up with a pattern that may be produced using the new “Design Your Slab”, technique developed by Iris Ceramica Group for printing on ceramic. The deadline for registration and submission of entries is September 30, 2017.
Another event concerning Next Landmark is coming up in Milan with Equipo Mazzanti, winner of the 2016 contest, featured in the exhibition We Play, You Play at SpazioFMGperl'Architettura. The showroom and gallery of the Iris Ceramica Group’s Iris ceramica and FMG Fabbrica Marmi e Graniti brands reopens to the public after the summer break, and the exhibition will continue until September 29, 2017.
Lastly, we wish to recall an event linked with products and specifically the Iris Ceramica Group’s 3x1.5 metre porcelain maxi-slabs. On September 19 through 21, 2017, Oficina Tëcnica, the new Matimex showroom bringing the Italian style of the Iris Ceramica Group’s products to Spain, Portugal and Latin America, will hold a three-day open house in Madrid .
