The 22nd appointment of “The Architects Series - A documentary on: Mecanoo”, curated by The Plan magazine for Iris Ceramica Group, will take place on Thursday 28th April at 6.30pm. 
Having registered on the Iris Ceramica Group digital platform, interested users can watch a video-documentary lasting 30 minutes and the following lecture held by Francine Houben, Mecanoo creative director and founding partner. The webinar will be streamed live from the Iris Ceramica Group Flagship Store in Berlin (https://flagshipstore.irisceramicagroup.com/showroom-berlin).
During the lecture entitled “People, Place, Purpose, Poetry”, Francine Houben will illustrate the history of the firm Mecanoo, founded in Delft in 1984, and its strategies for interpreting the identity of buildings in an increasingly global world. Today Mecanoo is composed by a multidisciplinary team and the versatility characterizing its approach is considered an essential resource for the design of multifunctional buildings that are contextually reactive and adaptable.
