Dorte Mandrup Arkitekter draws inspiration from the traditional fishermen’s homes in the village of Råå, though without falling into a vernacular architectural idiom. The Råå Day Care Centre, on the coast of Sweden at the strait of Øresund, is a building for children organised on the basis of the principles of creative play and integration into the landscape.

C. F. Møller: Sølvgade School in Copenhagen

In this discrete project, C. F. Møller has renovated an old school in Copenhagen, restoring the original volume built in 1847 and constructing a new building on the corner of Kronprinsessegade and Klerkegade. The element allowing the new building to communicate with its surroundings is a façade concealing an energy conservation project.
