MACAM, Lebanon celebrates its second anniversary
MACAM, Modern and Contemporary Art Museum in Alita, located 35 km north of Beirut in an old lime factory compound overlooking the Mediterranean sea, is celebrating its second anniversary: a retrospective of Lebanese sculptor Boulos Richa and an exhibition of “The Age of Iron” sculpture competition.

BIG unveils plans for the World Trade Center
BIG architectural studio has unveiled its plans for the last new skyscraper to be built on the site of the World Trade Center. The Danish studio’s project is identified as 2 WTC in the five towers included in Daniel Libeskind’s plan, and is due to be completed in 2021.

CCA exhibition The SAAL Process Housing in Portugal 1974–76
The CCA (Centre Canadien d’Architecture) presents an exhibition about SAAL (Serviço Ambulatório de Apoio Local), a service offered by the Portuguese government in the 70s. An important experience for the role of the architect in society, in which names such as Gonçalo Byrne, Artur Rosa, Álvaro Siza, Fernando Távora and Manuel Vicente played a key role.
