Spanish architect José Maria Sanchez Garcia has been awarded the fourth BSI Swiss Architectural Award, a biennial award for architects under 50 who have contributed to contemporary architectural debate with projects displaying a particular awareness of landscape and the environment.

Snøhetta National September 11 Memorial Museum Pavilion - New York, USA
On May 14 US president Barack Obama opened the museum commemorating the victims of September 11 2001. The entrance pavilion is designed by Snøhetta architectural studios. The building will open to the public on May 21, 2014.
