Lupi Migliore Servetto – Urban Project to celebrate the Unification of Italy

Turin,

To celebrate the 150th anniversary of the Unification of Italy, architects Italo Lupi, Ico Migliore and Mara Servetto designed a lighting project for the Mole Antonelliana tower and an urban communications project for the city of Turin, Italy’s first capital.

Lupi Migliore Servetto – Urban Project to celebrate the Unification of Italy This highly significant lighting installation for the Mole Antonelliana, the monument that is the symbol of the city of Turin, is the closing act in an urban communications and installations project that has been underway for some time. 3 rectangular frames of light produced with leds in the colours of the Italian flag, placed over the dome, symbolise and sum up 9 months of celebrations. The project by architects Italo Lupi, Ico Migliore and Mara Servetto also includes interventions to identify sensitive spots in the city, dressing them in the colours of the Italian flag with banners and canvases, starting at the city gates with their 8 banners.
