Billboard Park revives industrial waterfront in Argentina

The New York City-based EFGH Architectural Design Studio has designed Billboard Park, an eye-catching recreational landscape which is part of a wider effort to revitalize the industrial waterfront in Rosaria, Argentina.
Located on a triangular site set back from the water, the design extends both vertically and horizontally. Park-goers can therefore enjoy the lawn and sitting areas on the ground, or venture up to the innumerable niches within the vertical, concrete structural honeycomb.
Here, a vertical garden will thrive thanks to a lightweight, soil-free growth medium and people can take in beautiful views of the nearby Paranà River.

The green side of the structure faces the river, while the asphalt façade faces the nearby highway and neighborhoods. The asphalt side is also equipped with LED lighting panels for low-energy illumination.
Currently under construction, Billboard Park will constitute a dynamic visual landmark for the city as a whole.
