Milano Fuorisalone 2015 the best of the week

An important annual event, held for the 54th time this year, Salone del Mobile brings the city of Milan to the world’s attention while awaiting the opening of Expo 2015. In the week of April 13 through 19 the exhibition centre in Rho is occupied by stands and the city comes to life with all the events of Fuorisalone.

Floornature’s editorial staff is actively involved in events at SpazioFMGperl'Architettura and has also been participating in other initiatives, reporting on them on the portal’s pages on the social networks.
Starting with the exhibition Futurecraft Tomorrow by Design #1 focusing on the career of architect Carlo Ratti, curator and designer of the Future Food District pavilion for Expo 2015 and the events proposed by SpazioFMG, we go on to take a look at FAB Architectural Bureau, Fiandre and Porcelaingres’s new temporary showroom, opened on April 14 at Via Solferino 40.
The events we have visited include: the Future Scalo installation constructed at Via Savona 43 by Metrogramma architectural studios, designers of SuperSurfaceSpace, the Iris Group’s Moscow gallery, Room for Inspiration, the dynamic multisensorial space set up at Space Y in Ventura Lambrate, Ventura 14; and Energy for Creativity, event installations organised by Interni at Università degli Studi di Milano, Ca’ Granda ex Ospedale Maggiore and Brera Botanical Gardens.
