A double exhibition for Spaziofmgperl'architettura, the Iris Ceramica and FMG Fabbrica Marmi e Graniti exhibition gallery: from 15 September, the gallery will play host to the most recent projects created by Landa Arquitectos and Piuarch, confronting the contemporary architectures of Mexico and Italy.
After the summer break, Spaziofmgperl'architettura, the Iris Ceramica an FMG Fabbrica Marmi e Graniti exhibition gallery opens its door again, offering a double exhibition to the public: “Landa Arquitectos & Piuarch. Architetture contemporanee tra Messico e Italia” (“Landa Arquitectos & Piuarch. Contemporary architectures between Mexico and Italy”).
From 15 September, a selection of the most recent projects carried out by the two architectural practices invites you to discover and hear about the stories of the landscapes of their own cities of origin, Monterrey and Milan, and the ongoing transformations involving their metropolitan areas.
Four projects were selected for each architectural practice, which will be described in all their phases, from their initial concept and the building phase, to the final completed building. Technical drawings, photographs of both the site and the building, as well as the design models, will be exhibited, offering the public the opportunity to discover, in details, the projects, including their technical information and their relationship with their surroundings.
The exhibited projects from Landa Arquitectos will include: Pabellón M (2016), the Trebol Park complex (2016), the Dataflux tower (2000) of San Pedro Garza García, and the high-rise building of Reforma Latino (2016).
The exhibited Milanese projects carried out by Piuarch will include: Porta Nuova Building (2013), the Dolce&Gabbana Headquarters (2012), the Congress Centre of Riva del Garda (currently underway) and CENTRO*Arezzo.
