The fourth Next Landmark contest gets going in Milan during Expo 2015

The fourth edition of Next Landmark 2015, the international contest promoted by Floornature and open to architects, engineers, landscape architects, urban planners, photographers and designers, is now underway. As in the previous editions, the contest will have three sections: Landmark of the year (for a work built after 01.01.2010, with no age limit), Research (unbuilt projects and graduates’ theses dated after 01.01.2000), and Photography (photographic work creatively and originally interpreting the new urban landmarks).

In its fourth edition, the contest will once again collaborate with the Master’s Degree Programme in Integrated Communication and Design (MSTC) at IUSVE, while this year sees the inauguration of a new international partnership with the Faculty of Architecture of the Estonian Academy of Arts at Tallinn University in Estonia.
In the year of the World’s Fair, the contest is of course connected with Expo Milano 2015. The Next Landmark judges will award the winners in each category a trip to Milan to visit Expo 2015 and the exhibition, event and awards ceremony to be held at SpazioFMGperl'architettura in Milan, including tickets to Expo Milano 2015 and accommodations. The winning projects will be featured in SpazioFMGperl'architettura, part of the Expo Milano 2015 circuit, published on the Floornature portal and on the related social networks, in the newsletter and in LivegreenBlog. The winners in each category will also be presented with a certificate attesting to their victory in Floornature’s NEXT LANDMARK 2015 Contest.
