Ceramic flooring at Paradise Center

Paradise Center is a new architectural complex in Sofia, Bulgaria, designed by a team of architects including, starting from the inside and working outwards: Planning Arch Ilian Iliev, interior design, Pro Arch, façades, and London studio RTKL, responsible for the overall concept.

A big architectural volume, practically an urban centre in its own right, in view of its complexity, containing 330 shops, a rollercoaster, a 30-hall cinema complex with 4D, an indoor ice skating rink, a big gym, several supermarkets, and an underground parking lot with a car wash, all with an environmental slant, sheltered under a green roof.

A very important place for the city lifestyle, in a densely populated area, with floors covered with GranitiFiandre ceramic. A material which not only resists wear and maintains its colour, but is perfectly in line with the idea of environmental stability required of an urban complex such as this one. For the architects wanted the development to establish a synergy between man and nature, declared in every detail of the design and in the centre’s logo.
