Input Creative Studio designs a photography studio in New York

Flexible and fun – the keywords for the interior design project of a photography studio specialising in children’s portraits, by Input Creative Studio in New York.



Input Creative Studio is a New York-based interior design firm that was asked to take on a rather special commissioned – the interior design of a photography studio that specialises in children’s portraits.



So, in addition to making the space practical and flexible to meet the needs of the different shoots required by the customer, the designers focused on the needs of the youngsters.



The modular open space of Studio Eight Photos can be configured in different ways, the layout is like a blank canvas that can be turned into whatever is needed for the shoot.





A custom playhouse niche has been carved into a wall to entertain the kids and they’ve even got a large blackboard to draw on in between and during shoots. Small touches of colour integrate into a simple, almost neutral and elegant atmosphere, giving the children the space they need to express their creativity and at the same time setting the perfect scene for special photos. 



This project is without any doubt a successful combination of interior design and photographic art.
