Veech X Veech Al Jazeera Headquarters Doha
Veech X Veech,

A building with an integrated multimedia environment is how architects Mascha Veech-Kosmatschof and Stuart A. Veech describe television studio 14, the Network Studio designed for well-known television broadcaster Al Jazeera.

The studio is part of a bigger project: the founders of Veech X Veech also designed a second television studio, the Arabic Newsroom, and planned the expansion of Al Jazeera’s headquarters in Doha, of which the Network Studio is the most important part.
The curved lines and asymmetrical geometry of the Al Jazeera logo inspire the studio’s interior design, defining spaces and turning into three-dimensional elements in the furnishings in the television studio. There are no dividing walls, permitting filming in 360° all around the studio, which features big interactive screens and the latest television filming technologies. The glass walls are protected by filters that balance daylight with integrated LED lighting.
Network Studio won the 2017 Set of the Year Award, presented by NewcastStudio at NAB Show in Las Vegas April 22 through 27, 2017.
